Dr Neeraj Gupta is the chief consultant of Dr Bakshi Gupta’s Eye Center.He is the third generation renowned ophthalmologist in the family. He has graduated from Government Medical College Baroda in 2012 and further pursued DNB in Ophthalmology. After completing his Master’s in Eye surgery he has attained his fellowship in Phaco surgery from HV Desai Eye Institute in Pune. His keen interest in academics has helped him achieve certification of examinations of International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO-I & II). He has served for one year in Gurunanak Charitable Trust in Pehowa. He has thus far performed more than 5000 surgeries including all types of complicated cataract cases with the help of innovative techniques and has been providing excellent surgical results. Dr Neeraj Gupta is also a visiting chief eye surgeon in Rotary Hospital (MSK Jain hospital) in Panipat. With his passion and vision Dr Bakshi Gupta Eye Care Centre had grown it’s wings and proved to be one of the best eye Care centers for the people in the tricity and neighbouring states.

Dr Mukesh Vats (MBBS, MS, FVR AEH) is a renowned retina consultant with more than 20 years of experience in his field. Dr. Vats has a Fellowship and vast experience in Vitreo-Retina specialty from prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, under world renowned Vitreo-Retinal surgeons, Dr. P. Namperumalsamy and Dr. Kim Rama Swami. He has presented various papers in ophthalmology conference and published articles in International Journals such as American Journal of Ophthalmology. As a Retina Consultant at SGHS Eye Hospital, he has been instrumental in allotment and managing of diabetic retinopathy project funded by World Diabetic Foundation, Denmark. He has participated in various diabetic retinopathy related tele-medicine projects. He is a member of VRSI & FVRS. His area of expertise include creating awareness about vision loss related to diabetes.
MBBS Fellowship in ocular oncology
Dr. Abhilasha Maheshwari, DNB, FACS specialises in plastic surgery and treatment of eye cancers. Known for her evidence-based treatment methods mixed with empathetic patient care, Dr. Maheshwari has a reputation of diagnosing and managing stubborn diseases with ease. She earned her medical degree (MBBS) in 2010 and obtained her postgraduate training in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai in 2015 and further trained in ophthalmic plastic surgery and ocular oncology with Dr. Santosh G Honavar at Centre for Sight super speciality eye hospital, Hyderabad, India followed by a fellowship in ocular oncology with Dr. Paul T. Finger at The New York Eye Cancer Center, New York, USA. She has performed numerous procedures like blepharoplasty, ptosis correction, enucleation, DCR, aesthetic eyelid surgeries etc. Dr. Maheshwari has numerous research publications in peer-reviewed ophthalmology journals. She has presented her research at various national and international conferences since 2016 and passionately continues to do so.
